Nick LaPointe, PE
PARTNER/CHIEF ENGINEER
Nick specializes in the planning, design, construction, and life cycle management of waterfront infrastructure and the maintaining navigation channels. His over 20 years of experience include managing the Port of Cleveland’s capital and dredge material management programs and serving as a project manager and temporary structures design engineer for one of the nations largest marine construction and dredging contractors. Nick is responsible for Littoral’s professional services that includes planning, engineering/design, permitting, and project delivery.

Jake Dunfee
PARTNER/CHIEF OF OPERATIONS
Jake has over 30 years marine transportation, salvage, and marina management experience. Jake has supported the installation of submarine utility cables and performed other water based dredging, shoreline revetment, and water intakes projects on the western basin of Lake Erie. Having a Master of Towing license, Jake has coordinated and performed specialized project cargo deliveries throughout the Lake Erie Islands. At Littoral Services he focuses on equipment and oversees the company’s field operations.
ECOLOGY
Matt Kovach
ON-STAFF SENIOR WETLAND ECOLOGIST
Matt specializes in Great Lakes coastal habitat restoration, with focuses on coastal resiliency, water quality, and wetland restoration. Hist thorough understanding of environmental complance processes helps his clients efficiently navigate complex wetland permitting challenges. Matt has managed, designed, permitted, and implemented some of the largest wetland restoration projects throughout the Great Lakes. He leads Littoral’s ecological services, including management of our wetland plant production facility.
Garrett Darby
ASSISTANT ENGINEER/PROJECT MANAGER
Garrett is a graduate of the University of Toledo, with a degree in Civil Engineering. He brings 10 years of Construction Management experience to the Littoral Services team. His previous experience included a variety of projects in the Commercial construction sector. Garrett’s broad knowledge and understanding of large-scale commercial projects is immensely beneficial to our clients of all sizes. At Littoral Services he will support all core business areas.
